Pedro Ernesto Flores López is the CEO and founder of GeoInsight Consulting LLC, a geological consulting firm based in Texas. He is a Geological Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in mineral exploration and technical field operations across Peru, Chile, and Mexico, combined with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), which strengthens his strategic approach to resource development and project leadership.

Over the course of his career, Pedro has participated in the evaluation and execution of exploration programs for major mining projects such as Las Bambas in the Andes of Peru, La Coipa and Maricunga in northern Chile, Casale-Caspiche within the prolific Maricunga Belt, and Mina Justa, among others. He has also worked extensively on a range of exploratory campaigns in both greenfield and brownfield settings throughout key mineral districts in Peru, Chile, and Mexico.

His core expertise lies in identifying, interpreting, and developing complex mineral systems, including porphyry copper deposits, skarn-type mineralization, and epithermal gold-silver systems. Pedro is highly proficient in advanced geological software, including Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, Minesight, and Power BI, allowing him to model subsurface geology, analyze multidisciplinary datasets, and optimize exploration strategies based on solid geological and spatial data.

Pedro is known for his ability to operate effectively in high-altitude, logistically challenging, and socially sensitive environments, where he has led multidisciplinary teams and integrated geological insight with practical execution. His experience blends deep field knowledge with modern geospatial technology and business acumen, providing a comprehensive approach to exploration leadership.

Through GeoInsight Consulting, Pedro brings global exploration expertise to support the discovery of mineral resources within the United States. His understanding of Latin America's highly mineralized terrains allows him to recognize analogous patterns in underexplored regions of the western U.S., positioning GeoInsight to contribute meaningfully to critical mineral discovery, domestic supply chain resilience, and responsible resource development.
